Cheryl’s Testimony

Being a part of the Water Walkers Team and spending time there is an incredible journey for me so far. First of all I enjoy being there because its family friendly oriented and a Christian Base Organization. I also enjoy interacting with the kids going on trips, celebrating birthdays together, playing games, baking, ministering, Bible study and my favorite of all worshiping together. I also look forward to spend time with my sister in Christ every Wednesday for women meeting and going to church on Sundays. Also seeing the impact caused by serving a hot meal to the less fortunate and giving back to the community warms my heart.

Being at Water Walkers has taught me to be more patient, understanding, caring, bold, kind to step out of my comfort zone and be more open minded. It has given me the opportunity to meet people of all ages and all walks of life. I have been able to have a safe, comfortable environment for my kids and other kids to come to. To be molded into talented, educated, responsible, respectable, God Fearing young ladies and young man.

I would like to thank all the sponsors, the team and anyone that has played a part in making Water Walkers be what it is today. A special thanks to Mr. Nigel and Miss. Julie especially Miss Julie for having a dream and making it become a reality. Then sharing her dream with us. Also, for being a great mentor to me and may others.
